Rare Disease Day 2026 – Strengthening Collaboration
On 27 February 2026, the Swiss Angiodysplasia Association will take part in the national conference for Rare Disease Day in Bellinzona. The event is organised by ProRaris and the network Malattie Genetiche Rare and is dedicated this year to the theme of “collaboration” – a key issue for us as a patient organisation.
We are pleased to be present with our own stand. The event offers the opportunity to connect with affected individuals, relatives and healthcare professionals, expand our network and raise awareness of the needs of people living with vascular malformations.
The chosen theme “collaboration” highlights an important issue: in the care of people with angiodysplasias, interdisciplinary cooperation between medical specialties remains a major challenge. The complexity of these conditions requires coordinated action across professional boundaries. Collaboration with patients on equal footing is equally essential to ensure needs-based care.
As an association, this is exactly what we stand for: mutual understanding, networking and cooperation instead of isolation – between affected individuals, families and the healthcare system.
